About

A better standard,
built in Koreatown.

Sleek exists because Koreatown has been waiting for the gym it deserves — a space built for people who actually train. Opening 2026.

The Story

Why Sleek exists.

The gym Koreatown deserves didn’t exist. Not at any price. Everywhere else in this neighborhood — restaurants, beauty, retail, hospitality — Koreatown has taste and demands quality. Fitness was the last category still settling for less. Sleek closes the gap.

Philosophy

One standard, held everywhere.

The test is simple. Equipment that isn’t worth training on doesn’t come in. Classes that aren’t worth taking don’t get scheduled. Trainers who aren’t worth booking don’t make it to the floor.

That’s the whole operating principle. No trade-offs that members feel. No decisions made for margin at the cost of experience.

The Space

Koreatown, by design.

Sleek lives inside Koreatown Plaza at 928 S Western Ave — one of the most walkable and transit-connected addresses in K-town. The location isn’t a compromise; it’s the whole thesis. Premium should live where members already are.

Sixteen thousand square feet. One dedicated pilates studio. A strength floor designed to accommodate serious training without the fight for equipment. Space to breathe — something most LA gyms stopped caring about.

Equipment chosen the same way as everything else: Panatta and Newtech for plate- and pin-loaded. XMASTER for dumbbells, plates, and barbells. Life Fitness cardio. Balanced Body throughout the pilates studio.

The Team

Held to the same standard.

Every trainer and instructor at launch is handpicked — certified, vetted on how they actually teach, and chosen for the kind of coaching members come back for.

Trainer and instructor profiles will be published closer to open. Join the list to be the first to see them.
